Privacy policy
Draft for legal review
This policy says what Sabse Upar keeps about you, why, who else handles it, and for how long.
When you take a spot
- Shown on the wall to everyone: the name on your spot, your one line, your website and social links, your image or template words, your category, your rank and the total you have paid.
- Never shown or shared: your email address, an optional phone number, and the name for your receipt and, when GST applies, your state and optional GSTIN for the GST invoice.
- Payments: card, UPI and bank details go straight to Razorpay, our payment gateway. We never see or store them; we receive only the payment's id and status.
When you visit
- There are no accounts, advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
- Our servers log each request with your IP address, to keep the site secure and to limit abuse. Logs are kept only as long as that needs and are overwritten automatically.
- Clicks on a spot are counted per hour. To count a visitor once, your IP address is held in memory for 30 minutes and never stored.
- A report on a spot keeps a one-way code made from your IP address, so the same person cannot report it twice a day.
- After you pay, your spot's private manage link is saved in your own browser (local storage), so the wall can mark your spot and offer top-ups. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes it.
Who handles it for us
- Razorpay (India) takes payments.
- Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks.
- Google Cloud hosts our servers, which are in the United States.
- Google checks links against its list of unsafe sites and scans uploaded images for adult or violent content.
How long we keep it
- Your listing's details: while the listing exists.
- Payment records, receipts and invoices: as long as tax law requires.
- Checkouts that were never paid: deleted 30 days after they expire.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we keep about you, using the details on the contact page. Deleting your listing removes it from the wall; invoices and payment records stay as long as the law requires.
